Are you for reel? Producers Violet Suk and Martin Koch together form Violet | Martin and their sister/brother company Suk & Koch (and you thought it meant something dirty… shame, shame). Amazing visual stimulation that you must see. Thanks guys!
One of our hot-listed motion firms, Frame, updates with a slick new site and eye candy for your viewing pleasure.
Seeking filmmakers who adore seconds, flourish in miniature, and consider a standard minute to be an infinite amount of space.
Lumen Eclipse seeks all varieties of 60 second films with the democratic proviso: none shall exceed one minute! If big films are the cathedrals of today, we’re looking for your take on what a tiny and beautiful shrine might look like.
The LE: 60 Film Festival will be an outdoor event at the newly constructed Palmer Street in Harvard Square (Cambridge, MA).
Why is the name "Hillman Curtis" synonymous with amazing
graphic design and talent? Who is Hillman really? What's the drive behind it all?
We spoke with Hillman to get his opinion on the matter. Read our exclusive interview
You might not be looking for him, but he's right there at the top with the others, you just have to slow down
enough to see him. We actually stopped and sat down with Timo Boese to ask him a few questions...
We asked famed international designer and illustrator Radim Malinic,
a.k.a. Brand Nu, the questions everyone wants to know but were afraid to ask.
And hey, even if they aren't exactly what you would ask, it's a great look into the life
of a major trend setter that has helped propel us to where we are today. Enjoy our exclusive interview!...
Say "hello" to Tom Muller, or just say "Hello Muller".
Tom has been around the scene for several PhotoShop updates and most of you know his work,
but it's always fascinating to hear from a creative professional that follows his own path
in life and prospers from not getting sucked into the commercial vacuum.
This is not Tom. THIS IS TOM...
Noah Kalina is one of the first internet celebrities who made a name for himself on YouTube with his incredibly popular stop motion art piece Everyday where he showcased photos of himself that he took every day for 6 years.
What many might not know is that Noah is actually a very talented and passionate professional photographer - and just as artistic behind the camera as he was in front of it for Everyday.
FAIRspot recently caught up with Joshua Smith between travels to chat about his upcoming plans for Hydro74
and to give our readers more insight into how Joshua works and how he's been able to remain at
the top of his game for so many years, when most fall by the wayside. We hope you enjoy reading this
as much as we enjoyed presenting it!
Stefan Lucut is young, raw, talented, and as you'll see below, ready to take on the world. We are thankful in many ways to have had the chance to speak with someone that we truly believe is going to become one of the greatest icons in design history. Take this as a front-row pass inside the mind of a future mogul. Enjoy!
We are proud to begin the new year with our continuation of the FAIRspot original content series. This month we feature someone that should need no introduction. Having started one of the most influential design portals to date, Netdiver.net, and since being crowned the queen of all Powagirrls, Carole Guevin raises the bar when it comes to design leaders in the forefront.
Before we move into 2008, we thought we should take a minute to reflect on some of the highlights of this past year.
This list is not meant to be a complete wrap-up of any sorts, just some stuff that stood out and we felt was worth a mention. Check it out!
We are proud to announce our first interview in a series of original content presented by FAIRspot.com.
Font Designer Carlos Fabián Camargo (CFCG) kicks off the series with a wonderful interview and some amazing work to feast your eyes on. Enjoy!
Emil Kozak began at an early age to develop his skills, inspired by skateboard-art and the result today is a unique artist with brilliant ideas. The style is fresh and positive, but often with a message that digs deeper. He is a master of composition and has an eye for detail, that is not seen very often. Typographic, clean lines and few colors is often how Emil Kozak's artwork is described. Yet, there is always an unexpected surprise: obscure references, playing with words, codes and hints.
Chek out our exciting feature!
